Kicking the Pants

I just got word that Cincinnati Writers Project Anthology 4: A Few Good Words, the anthology that contains my short-story “Lightning,” is now available via print-on-demand from Amazon.com.

“Lightning” is just one of 113 great short stories and poems in this collection. I got a sneak peak at a few of them, and there are some great stories in there. I can’t wait to read them all.

  I hope it does, Paula! The editor said last night that it would be available in 15 days “or sooner,” but Amazon acts like it’s in and ready to ship. I guess we’ll see! Thanks for buying a copy. I hope you like the story! (And we are really overdue for a lunch!)

  Great story! I really enjoyed “Lightning.” Wonderful characters and action. I’m still trying to figure out what writer magic you used to convey the setting. You deposited rich, vivid images in my mind without dragging me through long descriptive passages. Sounds like a good lunch topic!
