Before Coffee: That Which Does Not Kill Me

June 6, 2016 § Leave a comment

I’m not sure Nietzsche knew what the hell he was talking about, and I’m pretty sure whatever doesn’t kill you just leaves you weaker for the next attack. I mean, that’s how it works in D&D; either your party gangs up on a monster, or the monsters gang up on you. Each takes a cut at the skin until there’s nothing left to keep the life inside.

Pretty much how I’m feeling this morning.

The stress has been unrelenting lately. As soon as one problem is resolved, another one takes it’s place.

Life is seriously damaging my calm.

With any luck, I’ll put a bullet in another source of stress this afternoon. Won’t quite balance the scales just yet, but it’s something.

Hopefully nothing comes along to take it’s place, because I’m about out of skin.
